I started wearing kilts during Covid when my arthritis flared and boots off then jeans on then boots back on then get the mail then boots off then jeans off then boots back on ... all became too much. This summer I haven't even unearthed my shorts. It's been kilts all the way. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I encourage the looking after yourself campaign. Living in the tropics has enforced me to deal with temperatures (30 to 40 degrees C - 86 to 104 F all the year around) and torrential rains.

I am not into physical exercise or fitness but I do love The Kilted Coaches. I like their personalities and the non-toxic masculinity they present. They are supporters of "queer" rights and are comfortable and amused that so many gay guys wish they were gay, too.

I am half-Scottish and find my kilt warm in cold weather and airy cool around my thighs in the warm weather. I don't wear it in Thailand.

Thanks for the encouragement, Ray. I’m doing pretty good with the do-it-early or don’t-do-it campaign. Only a few more days and the moderate temps will return. As for kilts, I’ve only tried one on (at a street music festival years ago). Utli-kilts was the brand, if memory serves. They were popular here for a bit, especially at gay bars. I was shy, but really wish I had bought one…cuz I’d be wearing it now. :-)

One of the reasons I left So California was the heat. Just couldn't take it anymore. My sincere sympathy to you. Here in the Pacific Northwest (near the Canadian border) it is a coolish 72--just the way I like it. You are becoming one of my first reads (and views) in the morning along with the regular news and my favorite comic strips. Keep it up. You always have something interesting to say. Best Tom

Thank you, Tom. Appreciate the PNW vibes (and weather). The kind words too…if you have any special requests or suggestions, please let me know. Cheers!

I have no requests just the hope that you can keep this going. You are on to something here. I know I enjoy it and so do others. It's an original offering which is so rare these days. I also hope you can solve the YouTube issue.

Thank you, Tom, for the encouragement (and Ko-Fi support)! I'm not sure my issues with YouTube will be resolved anytime soon, but I hope to keep doing what I'm doing...and growing the community on Substack. It's a safer, saner place imo.

Those kilted Scotsmen were cute and funny but being Gay I wish they were Gay even tho it's none of my business. It's cool here on the east coast which is kinda unusual for Sept. in SC.

I feel ya on the kilted ones, though I also have a vivid imagination. One of them and I are already married and living in gay, modern-day Little House on the Prairie in Scotland. The heat has nothing to do with this delusion. :-p

Thanks Clint for the mention of steering you towards the Kilted Coaches in the midst of all your Gingers content 😎 Those guys are also 🌈 friendly and know they have a big 🌈 following. I'm sure you've already thought featured at least one of them as a ginger/redhead (naked or not) Cheers DougT 🇫🇴

You got it, Doug. I don’t need them to be gay, ginger, or even nekkid…they seem like decent guys and I saw you sent me a link or two, so I’ll be catching up soon. Cheers!
