You have a most perfectly pulchritudinous pen, my dear—one that today also brought a chuckle.
I must remind myself to make sure and take in each of your dispatches when notified. Also: I fully relate to your sentiments about the light: A few weeks back, the daylight's hue was leaning into the yellow/orange so indicative of fall, but alas—it was just smoke from myriad Southern Cal fires.
I love inclemency. Not so much, of course, that our dear Toto's not in Kansas anymore, but to alight from a deep, delicious, and most restorative slumber, throw open my drapes, and see overcast weather, perhaps with the bonus of a little threat of rain, is a brilliant way for me to start my day. I'm among those less-common folk that are energized by what most others would consider adverse weather.
Well...Clint it's getting into late summer here just now and it's cold enough at evening to put my house heating on for a few hours brrrr It's also been wett/stormy too and the rain is needed due to the water shortage. I'll post a few more UT clips about strong independent older folks. I hope you and other Collide Press users find them life enhancing too. The Chanel owner also covers guys too. Cheers DougT 🇫🇴 🇬🇧
In my experience, healing takes more than hacks. It takes time. But I feel you on wishing I knew how to learn faster. Us stubborns guys, we're a caution. :-p :-*
Love this Wojnarowicz quote...I'm feeling his exhaustion 😣
Same here, Keith. Some folks are simply...EXHAUSTING!

Damnedest I wish I had learned life's hacks as much as those oldies have sighhhhh instead of retreating into the Ivory Tower to lick my wounds.
