I'm here too! I enjoyed the story and that You and the Moon became a part of the whole experience! I'm just as happy you did not take a photo of it, as it would somehow diminish the reality of it all.
Hey Clint like I said to you before, the mind memories are the real McCoy, you saw it and it'll stay with you forever, a digital image will be just that a flat soulless image. Cheers DougT 🏴🇬🇧
While I don’t think all digital images are “souless” they definitely aren’t all they’re cracked up to be…most are far too “perfect” to be memories. I like a little blur and grain to make things feel so mighty real. Cheers to you and the other real McCoys!
Wish I could say I saw it, however I didn't. As there are billions upon billions of trees up here at the campground and throughout Tennessee as a whole, with many towering well over 100'ft high, nothing can be seen unless it is directly over us. What I saw by that time was a very bright moon, almost full, that shown over everything below it. As for testosteroni, I'm surrounded by it with yet another large event coming up this next weekend with everything from leather, whips, chains, and everything that bangs. Not my cup-o-tea. In other news, I ended up having to stay home for this vacation which ends today, did not have the funds to travel west this year but in the process, I did knock a bunch of items off my to-do list that I've had to push over this past year due to my work schedule. I think going forward, rather than my trying to make plans to stay in Palm Springs, we have a sister campground in Yucca Valley near Joshua Tree, I might go that route for my next vacation as it would be cheaper, yet still put me in the area near P.S. This is my new reality since my income earnings were cut by 60%. The cash flow just isn't there anymore.
Great to hear from you, Jim. Glad you were able to make the best of your vacation. As for cash flow, I feel you, brother. Content creation isn’t as profitable (or consistent) yet as my past corporate jobs. But I’m not complaining…just learning to make it work on less. Sadly, something most of my dears, nears, and/or queers are all too familiar with. Hang in there and hope you make it out West next year. Cheers!

Another take on it 🎶🎶🎼 Cheers DougT
Cheers to you, Doug! Not familiar with The Waterboys, but I wanna play like that keyboardist. Music to my ears.
Waterboys are a part of my 'younger days' encyclopedia of sounds......sighhhh
Cheers Sixes
Thanks Clint and Happy Birthday Ronnie Spector, who sang You Can't Put Your Arms Around A Memory at Johnny Thunder's memorial service.

Yeah, sometimes you don’t need to capture everything. It captures you. 😊
Color me captured, Nerrrdness! It was a sight for my sore eyes. :-)
Oooh, Lee, I love me some Shirley Bassey. They don’t make it like that anymore. Thanks for the recommendation! Cheers too…
