I know that feeling! Once took a bus from the valley floor of Yosemite up to the top to do a nice leisurely downhill trail back, and was so sore the next day could barely stand up. 😂
Thanks Clint 🌈 and F Scott F, Happy Birthday. Rewatching some of Becoming Us from 2015. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8W77vScGcg I doubt that I'll delete these. In the first episode the guy rides his bike through Fountain Square in Evanston. That fountain is no longer there. In another episode they're eating in a restaurant that I went to many times.
Wow…I wasn’t even aware of this show. Kinda shocked ABC Family would “go there” given the usual Disney mandates. Emphasis on man. Less on dates. Although Disney is soooooo gay! :-p (Can you tell I’m an ex-Mouseketeer? lol)
Eisner was before my time, but I’ve heard rumors of him being VERY gay friendly in the area. I appreciate the “Disney magic” but the realities of working in the House of Mouse are rarely so magical. “Uncle” Walt liked his teams to work in opposition to each other. Anything for “innovation.” :-p
Hmmm Clint, handing you the Firey Jack and embrocations 😉 however once your loosened up you can hoof along to your heart's content, just like in the film clip
That’s the best kind of soreness. It tells you you’re alive, moving, and saying yes to new rhythms. Love how you paired body work with art work, both muscles and imagination stretching at once 🌟
Thank you for the mention! And yes - that Queer Lens exhibit was great. I went with a bunch of gay men, and I kind of felt sorry for the middle aged straight woman who was the docent - we knew more than her about the pieces and the history. Lol.
I had a chance to visit the Queer Lens exhibition at the Getty when I was in town earlier this month and found it to be inspiring and learned some things that I hadn't seen other LGBTQ+ photography or art exhibits from previous years. Also picked up the book and am curious to hear your thoughts overall. Maybe we should schedule a chat about soon!?
Loved both music videos. Thanks for including them.
Glad you enjoyed them, David. Cheers!

My legs ache in solidarity! :-p

Michael Eisner was very gay friendly, but their reputation was very bad in almost every other way in Florida
