I’m going to take myself out on a long drive today. Some time behind the wheel, out in the world, will do my body, mind, and spirit good.
There’s something about driving that, for me, clears the noise and the static.
As I’m driving, I’ll be singing along, loudly and proudly, to “Drive,” one of my all-time favorite songs, on repeat. Like you do with a personal anthem. Originally by Incubus, it’s an uplifting reminder of what truly matters to me:
Not letting fear take the wheel.
Choosing presence over panic.
Keeping my eyes open and the windows down, even when the road feels uncertain and the destination isn’t totally clear.
So today’s plan is simple:
Open arms, open eyes, windows down, volume up.
No agenda. No destination. No time limit.
Just me and my car moving through the world with more hope than yesterday.
“Whatever tomorrow brings, I'll be there…”
Keep calm and drive on!
Clint 🌈✌️
P.S. And when I get home, maybe I’ll rewatch Drive (starring Ryan Gosling) or finally watch Baby Driver (starring Ansel Elgort). Keeping with the theme, ya know. 🍿🚘
