Waking up to a soft glow outside my window, I threw on some shorts and a T-shirt and stepped outside to witness the sunrise in all its quiet, early-morning glory.
The photo above captures it. Mostly. My iPhone caught the shape of the clouds, the way the light spread across the horizon and softened the edges of everything it touched. But somehow it missed the pink. That warm pink light that filled the sky for a few fleeting minutes, making the whole world feel gentler, more hopeful. It was as if the day was offering a quiet reward for getting out of bed and paying attention.
There’s something grounding about witnessing moments like this—and trying to capture them. No notifications. No headlines. No agenda. Just standing there in wrinkled clothes, half-awake, watching the world quietly turn its lights back on.
It felt like a promise. Or at least a nudge.
Let’s make it a great week, y’all.
Keep calm and carry on!
