I never set out to be a “content creator.” Honestly, I never planned on being most of the things I’ve done for a living: projectionist, costumer, graphic designer, webmaster.
Over the years, my interests, opportunities, and skills have collided—and sometimes conspired—to lead me here. For better and for worse, I’ve simply followed the path.
I may not (yet) be as “successful” as I was in some past ventures, but I’m by far the happiest I’ve ever been doing what I do now. I wake up genuinely excited to create and curate this newsletter. And be a small part of a large creative community.

Most days, I have no idea what I’m going to say until my fingers hit the keyboard. Some days, the words flow like water. Other days, it’s like pulling teeth.
Still, for well over a year now, I’ve published a newsletter at the very least. Yay!
More often than not, I’ve also managed to piece together a montage or two. Slowly but surely, people are finding my work on Substack and on YouTube. I’m grateful for every subscriber and supporter.
For many reasons, I prefer posting on Substack. It’s simpler and less frustrating, yes, but it also feels more like a conversation than a performance. And for me, that’s the whole point: writing to get to know myself and others better.
Quality over quantity for the win. Always.
Thank you for being a friend!
Clint 🌈✌️
P.S. Thanks for all the notes about my echocardiogram yesterday. The test went smoothly, and I’ll know more in a few weeks when I meet with my cardiologist.

This! So much this! “it also feels more like a conversation than a performance”. So much of what you write is like salve for my soul. By whatever divine universal happenstance that put you and I in the same path, know I’m so eternally grateful for and blessed by. You’re a good egg, Clinton Marie!
