How lovely! Sounds like the rendezvous with your soul sister was reinvigorating for the both of you!! I'm sure this will be nurturing and healing for you, Clint.
The Horst collection was wonderful. What beautiful photography, I must say! Thank You so much!!
Thanks, Larry! It was a great mini-reunion. I look forward to being able to do a longer one later in the year. Seattle is always great to visit. As for Mr. Horst, his eye always manages to inspire me. Glad you appreciate him too. Cheers!
So happy to share ib=n your reunion. My parallel process of visiting my biological and constructed families (no less real and important) has me staying with the woman I would have married were I not gay. Seeing the 2 sons we co-parented, their wives and children to spend time with me. The sister of my dear hostess (co-parent) arrives here in England from Texas to join our family gathering. We went by boat to watch a 2 hour international fireworks competition 2 nights ago. Hugs and kisses continue. It is so wonderful to bask in the affection and love. A friend of my sons, with whom they grew up, travelled to see them and me. It was very good to be hugged bt=y a 50 yr old men that I knew when he was a teenager. He wasn't so affectionate with me 35 years ago. Blossom in the sunshine of being loved, Clint.
Bask away, dear Ray. Your reunion with your dears and nears sounds wonderful. And full of literal fireworks too! Hugs and kisses from across the pond. May your visit continue to recharge you and your soul. Cheers!
Wowwwzer Clint, you could hear your love and pride of your friend in your text words and I could hear your imagined voice too saying it, Cheers DougT 🇫🇴🇬🇧
Awwww…thanks, Doug. My sister from another mister loves hearing about my Substack family, of which you are an extremely important part of. Sending hugs and much love from across the pond. Cheers!
This was beautiful, Clint. The way you write about reunion — not just as joy but as healing after separation — really resonated with me. Thank you for sharing this piece of your heart today.
