I have been a YouTube subscriber for a while now and have really enjoyed your videos!! As a 70+ (not saying what the plus is), I can't wait to see what you come up with next. Especially interested in you bringing older "tin type" photos back to life. Thanks for all your artistry and love!!

Wow…thank you, Robert. I appreciate you watching my work and finding your way over to Substack. It means the world to me. As for tintypes, yes! I’m only just begun experimenting. Some folks have strong reactions to these kinds of experiments, so I’m treading lightly. I just don’t have to time or energy to debate them. Just trying to respectfully have fun…I’m honored you get what I’m up to. Cheers!

Thanks for making the people in the photos come to life if only for a moment. Getting a sense of who they were and how they expressed their love for each other is something your efforts enhance tremendously.

Thank you, Allen. I aim to make sure my reimaginations and remixes are always fun and respectful. I view these men as part of the family, regardless of sexuality.

As you might expect, I am excited by your idea of revitalising vintage photos into brief videos to allow the love to be re-enacted (or the hidden simply expressed). I am delighted to see kissing and other affectionate gestures between men. It feels like liberating past figures from homophobia.

I love the way you see the world, dear Ray…thank you for sharing your vision. Cheers!

I have downplayed my mysticism for much of my life, in order to "fit in". Now in my retirement, with certain people, I let them see my perspective.

Seems reasonable to me. I often get looked at like I have three heads when I share how I really feel on some subjects. Not that I care. Being smarter than the average bear comes with the territory. As you well know. :-p

Thanks Clint and Happy Birthday Jacob Young. One year, when John McCook, Tony Geary, and David Canary were all nominated for the daytime Emmy for best actor, Jacob Young said it was an award for "3 guys who played my dad on TV"

Love that, Steve! I had to look up a couple of the names, but they were all part of my childhood. Cheers!
