When I dream about work, it means I’m not only passionate about the project but usually onto something good too.
These work dreams may not make for the best night’s sleep, but can lead to some of my favorite, most rewarding art and design.
(As I’ve written about before, my sleep shifts are rarely “normal” anyway.)
My Photoshop-fueled dreams are certainly an unconventional way to workshop ideas. Especially considering I switched from Photoshop to Affinity Photo last year. Old habits die hard: After almost twenty years, my subconscious can’t quite quit Adobe.
What does this have to do with Pride Flags & Prints? Well, me and the crew have been working on two of our fave collections: PRIDE with Collide + Motifs.
Both collections are our celebrations of the entire LGBTQ+ family tree. We keep coming back to them, whenever inspiration hits.
And let’s just say we’ve been inspired a lot lately.
When it comes to our pride and prints collections, it's a lot more than combining and coordinating colors. We carefully create and curate art and design that we feel mirror and reflect the intricacies of the LGBTQ+ community.
From vibrant pride flags to sepia-toned prints based on vintage photography, we aim to embrace everyone under the rainbow.
We’re not just creating works for ourselves. We’re crafting works that every branch of the LGBTQ+ family tree can enjoy in their personal and public spaces.
Our goal is to help everyone celebrate their community, equality, identity, and individuality. For us, it's about creating a visual representation of the stories, struggles, and triumphs that make this community so beautifully diverse.
These collections are our art and design applied to apparel, home decor, and more.
We hope you’ll find space in your heart and/or home for some of these prints and products. They are all proudly made with love. Just like us.
Stand out, stand proud, and let your colors shine! 🏳️🌈💖✨
