In my ongoing quest to make things clearer and simpler, I’ve managed to make everything a little more confusing. For some people. For the time being.
Here’s what had happened: In my rush to clear up some general confusion about whether collidepress.com was or wasn’t the same as collidepress.substack.com, I decided to move my “custom domain” from Substack back over to my shop.
The transfer itself went pretty smoothly: no glitches, no downtime, and not a single tech-induced tear.
Then came the realization.
I didn’t think about all the places I’ve shared that link over the years—posts, videos, bios, social links, email signatures…you name it. It’s a mess. And now I have a digital cleanup project on my hands.
It’s one of those classic “fix one problem, create ten new ones” situations.
Still, I’m choosing to see it as a digital fresh start—a little spring cleaning for my online life. I’ve set up redirects, but if you run into any dead links or confusing loops, please update your Substack bookmarks to collidepress.substack.com. That’s still home for my blog and bonus content, including this newsletter.
Meanwhile, the shop now lives happily at collidepress.com—where it once was and probably should’ve stayed all along.
So if you stumble across a broken link or find yourself in a redirect rabbit hole, now you know why. I promise I’m working on it…one link at a time.
Sometimes progress just looks like organized chaos.

Just checked out your .com and enjoyed seeing such photographs from the past. Being 80 years old, those were some of the only "porno" available to me as a youth, posing magazines, wrestling magazines, etc. Most of the photos I "visited" had the goodies tucked into pouches. Great seeming some of them again as compared to the more explicit stuff online (which is OK too). Fondly, Michael
