Yes, the Tsar was quite hot. There seem to be quite a few pics of him in (and out of) all types of clothing.
One thing to remember is that in that swimsuits were something men wore only when women were (or might be) around. Women generally swam with other women. There were even horse drawn carriages wheeled into the water so women could step into the water without being seen by other beach goers. If no women around, why wear anything? So nude was the default.
I'm also a bit curious as to the pics of those huge groups of nude men. I approve, lol... But what was going on?
