I keep promises. Many people do not know what I mean as a promise. I like people but I don't need their company or presence. I don't enjoy social gatherings and tend to avoid groups larger than 5 or 6 unless the group is emotionally important to me (wedding, celebrations, funerals, graduations). People who arrive late, postpone or don't turn up without good reason (obviously in my opinion) are dropped from my social circle.

🦜💚☘️🚢Thanks Clint and Michael Caine. Caine is one of the smartest men in England, hidden behind that Cockney accent.😱🦜💚☘️🚢 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oNYXq1SmWqk

Interesting take on parts of the country differences. I wonder where the Midwest would fall. One of my experiences in Mexico is that to refuse an invitation is rude, so you accept, and then just don't show up or follow through or cancel last minute! Now to me, that is RUDE! Fondly, Michael

Based on my limited experience, most Midwesterners are similar to my Texans in their ability to plan and stick to the plan. Like you, I experienced lots of well-meaning folks when I’ve visited Mexico…and ended up doing most things on my own. :-p Cheers!

Well Clint, I'm part of the go with the flow mentality, BUT, I'm always on time (irritating to some😲) and I expect that in others, sorta mixed messages I guess 😎 but hey ho. Cheers DougT 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧

Don’t call me a ho. Or do. Just don’t call me late for dinner. :-p As for being on time, I’m like you…and a fellow irritant to some. Oh. Well. I’ve gotta watch and I’m determined to use it. lol
