After a few days of intense digital housekeeping, I have cleaned up as much as I know how to. And I can finally get back to making montages today. Yay!
I’ll spare you the details of the technical oops-a-daisy that started it all. Let’s just say one small problem set off a chain of digital dominoes I didn’t see coming. One fix led to discovering another problem, which led to another “wait, what?” moment.
The good news? I think things are finally back in order.
The better news? Most probably didn’t notice a thing—which was always my goal.
In the process, I’ve been streamlining not just my domain names, but also my email inbox. Trying to keep Gmail tidy is like trying to herd digital cats, but I’m doing my best. During this cleanup, I discovered a few reader emails hiding out in my Spam folder. After I moved them to my inbox to reply, I couldn’t find them again. Ugh.
So…if you wrote me and haven’t heard back, please don’t take it personally. Feel free to resend your email or message me. I’d truly love to hear from you:
Slowly but surely, I’m still learning how to keep all the plates spinning that come with being a content creator: Writing, editing, designing, marketing, uploading, replying, and remembering to eat and rest once in a while.
It’s all part of the learning curve. And in the immortal words of Tim Gunn, I’m here (and queer) to “Make It Work!”
Keep calm and email on!
Clint 🌈✌️
P.S. One of my weekend “cleanups” was finally breaking up with Adobe—again. After being unable to install Photoshop on my new MacBook Air, I decided it was time to give the entire Creative Suite the boot. I’m officially over Adobe’s endless technical issues and ever-climbing prices. The early cancellation cost me $50, but will save me $70 a month going forward. Fingers crossed that whatever news Affinity announces this week turns out to be a solid replacement.

Oooh Clint, so its NATIONAL BEER WEEK, well I'll drink to that 🍻🍻🍻 Cheers DougT
Don't get yourself into a frazzle Clint, slow down, chill, and get ready for that 4 day cruise this weekend. Neck down a few Rum, Pina Colada cocktails and splice the main brace with a likely matelot or two. BTW I Google earthed Ensalada port/destination (as I'm a nosey parker) now I know of the Sea of Cortez and Baja and didn't realise it was in the Gulf of California. Or is that a Dony renamed area like the Gulf of America was the Gulf of Mexico 🥴 Anyways Cheers DougT 🇫🇴🇬🇧
