Yes, Clint: consistency, with mercy and self-forgiveness. If counting calories works for you in

maintaining a healthful dietary intake, then do it. Love yourself so then you can love others.

Thank you, Sam. It’s been an interesting week so far. Lots of shifts and pivots. I’m grateful for the kindness I’ve found in this motley crew of Substack. Cheers!

Hey Clint, I can relate to your thoughts on the choice to ignore suggestions and that "there's no need to react...or overreact.' I think that is sound advice for both inner and outer peace! You do so much that is very much appreciated. Thanks!

Awwww shucks, Larry. I just do what I do. And try not to get too bothered by asshats on the internet. lol Hope your week is off to a great start!

The part about just making ends meet, but not quite thriving financially, while focusing on running a Substack publication is so, so real. I hope more people come to understand this and become willing to open their wallets. And I appreciate you focusing on the four things you named! Always good to find a few things to focus on. -max

Thanks, Max. I try to remind folks that people come to Substack for many reasons and encourage them to support those they connect with. It’s a long game, in my book, but one I thoroughly enjoy playing. So many fun connections and co-conspirators. :-)

🫂🫂 do it your way on your own terms but keep option 2 (freelance) open 😎 A couple of YT channels I follow are having to resort to plan2 too. Cheers DougT 🇫🇴🇬🇧

Thanks, Doug. Doing my best to proactive. And I genuinely enjoy working with new clients. As long as they’re not asshats. lol

I take yesterday’s post with today’s as illustrating one whole, authentic person. We’re rarely ever just one thing and I appreciate both perspectives.

It makes me think of Joni Mitchell’s Both Sides now, sung in 1969

and again in the 2000s.

They’re both authentically her, but there are differences; shifts caused by growth and experience that only time and age can provide.

Love it. Despite my first reaction: Are you calling me OLD? LOL

But y’are, Blanche, y’are! 😆

Really though, you’re allowed to be multi-faceted and hold various truths at once.
