Thanks for the shout out! I think we need to get the queer writers together for another Zoom. I know there are a lot of us here and it's nice to make those human connections.
Ooh! I like that! We'd need to think about a good time for a Happy Hour. You're on the West Coast. I'm Midwest. What's the earliest you'd consider starting?? I know that some of our tribe is also in the U.K. and Europe. Not sure if we can get everyone but it would be cool to try!
I was playing with the idea of 3pm on Thursday or Friday. Not perfect for all, but might give most folks a chance to joinโฆwith a beverage of their choice. Open to suggestions. Happy to set it up if thereโs interest.
Yeah, that would be a good time. It's 5 PM here. I think it would be cool to invite people from different groups on Substack. I've recently begun following Lavendar Sound which focuses on LGBTQ+ writers of music. I also meet up on Zoom with a wider group of music writers every other week. Some may be interested. Of course, there's also the QStack directory. I'm also happy to do some leg work on getting it going.
I found your write up quite interesting and informative. I like that you acknowledged the input that other creatives have on your own process and that might fuel the development of something you may be working on, etc. Like a "mind map", where one word or thought leads to other ideas and indeed becomes a hive of activity metaphorically and literally, despite time and distance. The bonding itself gives a type of sustenance and support that encourages a resolve to carry on. Thank You, Clint!
So well said, Larry. I truly believe weโre all in this together and better when we find ways to work alongside each other if not exactly together. Community is becoming more and more important to me. And I love the extra energy and inspiration!
Thanks Clint and all the creators

Oh, DanโฆI WOULD LOVE THAT! Maybe we need to schedule a Happy Hour. Or something more regular. Title Suggestion: Palโs Pals. Cheers!

Meant to reach out today. But...gotta sidetracked. I'll touch base with you next week. Have a great weekend, Mr. Pal!
