I dunno about you, but I really needed that long holiday weekend.
Labor Day Weekend, for me, was all about doing no labor. For three full days, I gave myself permission to daydream, doodle, and drift. And with a little help from some tasty edibles, I also enjoyed a few epic naps…and vivid Technicolor dreams.
Over the long weekend, I noticed quite a few new subscribers joined. Welcome, new friends! Let me take a quick moment to reintroduce myself—and COLLIDE PRESS:
I’m Clint—a gay collector, creator, and curator of Art, Culture, History, Photos, and Video. I'm here and queer to celebrate. Not to hate or debate, dear. If you “color outside the lines” too, welcome to the crew, boo!
Now, a little housekeeping: Some have written me asking, “WTF is COLLIDE PRESS?” Fair question. Over the last few months, between my health stuff and moving, I know I have been preoccupied with a lot of “personal” updates. Thanks for rolling with me.
Life happens for us all, but I have been missing the simple joy of collecting, creating, and curating on a daily basis. So now that the summer chaos is finally in my rearview mirror, I’m ready to shift gears. Less me-me-me. More creativity!
I’m realigning, recommitting, and refocusing on the kind of work I love. Work that excites me and warms my heart. Work that connects me with all of you—my fellow creatives and dreamers.
Back to life. Back to reality. And hopefully back to a rhythm that makes me want to dance. I hope you dance too!
Thank you for being a friend…
Clint 🌈✌️
